This link takes you to a zoomable, interactive map of the entire Trans Canada Trail. The trail shows up as a grey dotted line, once you have zoomed in close enough. Click on the dotted line and the trail becomes a brighter yellow for easier tracking.

The Trans Canada Trail in Muskoka is about 131 km in length. It came into being in 2000 as a Millennium project, thanks to the combined effort of local municipalities and service clubs. The trail spans some of the nicest wilderness areas in the District, and crosses through the centre of Muskoka’s three largest towns, Gravenhurst, Bracebridge and Huntsville.

Interesting trivia: Bracebridge-born Liisa Savijarvi, a member of the Canadian Ski Hall of Fame, wrote to government as a child suggesting that a hiking trail across the country would be a great idea.
